Durward Trophy - Scratch Open - Round 1 Rules

1) The Tournament will be open to all amateur male golfers with current handicaps, who are members of recognised clubs. Maximum handicap index permitted is 3.4. 2) The Tournament will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf, as approved by The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, and in accordance with Local Rules. It is expected that all competitors will conform to all Rules and Regulations currently in force. 3) Online entry will open on Monday 1 January 2024 and payment will be required at the time of booking a time. ENTRY FEE: £40, including £5 food and beverage voucher. 4) Two round of the Course will be played. Play will commence at approx 7.30am, with the 2nd round starting from midday. There will be six Scratch prizes and one Handicap prize to the values shown below. Scratch Prizes: 1st: £500; 2nd: £300; 3rd: £150; 4th: £120;5th: £100; 6th £80. Best Overall Handicap: £60. 5) PRIZE GIVING WILL NOT BE HELD ON THE DAY. 6) Start times will be published on our website the week before the competition www.longniddrygolfclub.co.uk 7) In the event of a tie, positions will be decided on the best inward half and thereafter by such method as the Tournament Committee decide. Committee's decision shall be final. 8) Meals may be booked in the Clubhouse prior to play. 9) Caddies are not permitted. 10) Refunds up to 72hrs before the event.
