LONGNIDDRY GOLF CLUB
Longniddry Golf Club is seeking applications from suitable candidates to run the catering facilities at the Club. The Club has over 900 members with many living in the village producing a healthy turnover. In addition, there are several private functions. The dining room is separate from the main lounge and accommodates some 40 covers at any one time with space for an additional 40 to be seated in the main lounge. Food is also served in the adjacent casual bar. At present, food served in the bar and lounge area tends to be from a "snack" menu, with the dining room providing the more formal selection. The Club is seeking a caterer who will provide members and visitors with varied menus offering high quality food both during playing hours and in the evenings. The successful applicant will be expected to possess the vision and drive to develop the catering offering to exceed member expectation. Applicants with suitable skills and experience are invited to submit a brief review of their background and their proposals for providing this service. Although previous golf club experience is not essential, we would expect applicants to be familiar with the demands and expectations of members and visitors in a club or similar environment.
