Getting here
Longniddry Golf Club (EH32 0NL) is easy to find by following your sat nav system and is less than 20 minutes by train from central Edinburgh.
Arrival & Check In
Please check in at the Professional Shop at least 10 minutes before your tee off time. The Pro Shop is at the top lefthand side of the car park, next to the 1st tee.
Practice Facilities
You are welcome to use our practice nets, putting green or short iron practice range in advance of your tee time. Just ask at the Pro Shop for more information.
The Clubhouse
The main entrance is alongside the putting green, to the right of the car park. Feel free to enjoy the clubhouse facilities both before and after your round. Opening times do vary throughout the season and further details can be found at www.longniddrygolfclub.co.uk/opening_times
If you are a group of 6 or more, we recommend booking any catering requirements in advance. Please contact clubhouse@longniddrygolfclub.co.uk with the date and time of your tee booking.
Rental Items & Buggies
Pull trolleys can be hired from the Pro Shop on the day. We recommend that electric trolleys and buggies are booked in advance and ask all hirers to adhere to our buggy hire policy.
On the course
We want to keep all players and staff as safe as possible so please make yourself familiar with our Course Safety Policy and please respect our Greenkeeper Priority Code and Poor Visibility Policy .
Occasionally the work of our greenkeepers or the work of nature may restrict access to part of the course. A course update is provided daily on the Home page of our website.
Standard of Dress
We wish to maintain a reasonable standard of dress commensurate with both modern day golf clubs and golfing traditions and everyone is expected to be smartly and tidily dressed both on the course and in the clubhouse.
Golfing attire is required for all players and tailored shorts are allowed both on the course and in the clubhouse. Hats should be removed in the clubhouse and please change out of muddy or wet garments before entering the lounge or dining room.
Golf shoes are allowed in the back bar and changing areas but not in the lounge or dining room.
Mobile phones
Please keep mobile phone use to a minimum and turn ringers to silent in and around the clubhouse.
Golf Protocol
Slow play will not be tolerated. If you fall one hole behind the game in front and are holding up those behind, you must call the following game through.
Please take a divot bag with you from outside the Pro Shop and fill in any divots on your way. Pitchmarks must be repaired and bunkers raked.
Bag sharing is not permitted.
Organisers
Organisers are responsible for the behaviour of their group and should make all players aware of the Club rules which can be found by following this link. The club reserves the right to remove any person behaving inappropriately either on the course or in the clubhouse.
Liability
Visitors, their vehicles and belongings are on club property at their own risk and the club has no liability. The club has the right to refuse entry or remove a visitor at its discretion.
